”In celebration of Cassette Store Day, Sept. 7, 2013, Stones Throw threw a 24-hour only sale for the Madvillainy demo tape, the cassette manufactured in 2008 for the Madvillainy 2 Box Set. These tapes were left over from the project.
12 tracks, 36 minutes. This is the very first demo sequence of the album, the infamous Madvillain demo. Each of these tracks contain early vocal cuts by DOOM, all recorded and (quickly) mixed in Los Angeles CA at Madlib's Bomb Shelter studio. The track titles are written by Madlib.”
